Paint in 3 weeks time!

I have finally convinced the painter to take in the car. It is currently booked for three weeks, with ALL the bodywork being done first.
When that is done, i will grab a few different colour samples and go from there. It has been an incredibly LONG journey so far, so this is a very exciting time. Looking forward to the next stage.....

Possible colours,
BURGUNDY WITH PURPLE,
BURGUNDY WITH 'MORE' PINK,
BURGUNDY WITH APRICOT,

I have not totally set my mind on these, though this is what i was thinking so far. Keeping in mind the engine WILL NOT be coming out.

Good Luck with getting the car painted! I remeber when my old room mate was getting his car painted, its was a blast, but we stripped the whole car down to nothing but the wheels so we could push it out of the garage.

I'm sure whatever colour it goes it will come out great. From just the few pictures I have seen it already looks great. Can't wait to see what it looks like when its done!

Yes. Everything except the front and rear glass (the seals are gone though).
I have also got an update for everyone! The colour has been decided!!!

It is called Morpheous Metallic, and is made by Holden. I think it will go well with the current interior colour, and engine bay highlights?

Since these were taken, i have also removed the AC lines, and the ID tags.
Only a week and a half to go now....

I have not updated for quite some time.
Um, since the last post.... in a nutshell.
The bodywork is done, antenna and centre stop light deleted. Colour is there and ready, waiting to block down the highfill.
After that- they will edge it, and (with fingers crossed)- colour it.
Note- the best feature of all- and thanks to Packrat, the fordfestiva logo is still there!
I also realised how 'eggy' they are when bare! It's not very pretty is it?!!
I was kinda hoping to have it back for christmas, but we'll see?











The colour will be 'HOK' 'passion' purple, which has both red and blue pearl.
It should hopefully look something like this - (less the stop light and reflectors in the rear bar)....
