how do you get a wire throught the firewall, there's some sort of metal bulkhead type thing on the engine side which makes it really difficult to find my fish through the hole. do i have to drill something or is there a better way to do this?

See the pic below. You can see where I ran the battery cable thru the firewall when I 1st did my swap. Just remove the rubber plug, it's a clean hole thru to the interior. Now all the wires I added are run with the engine harness wich is accesible by removing the drivers side inner plastic fender.

If you have A/C, however, the hole Matt showed you won't be available
It's pretty easy to poke a wire through the main grommet in the driver's fenderwell. CAUTION: It's also fairly easy to nick some random (read: very important) wire's insulation in the process, resulting in an almost untraceable and unreachable short circuit that will drive you crazy for weeks. ops:
Really, just poke it through carefully.

There's another grommet on the passenger side. I poked into that one to run the wiring for cruise control.
You have to pull up some of the carpet in order to get it, and then it's kinda high up. But I was able to access it with little trouble.

When I wired in my fog lights, I was able to fish the wires through where the speedo cable goes. Don't know if this helps, but kept me from having to drill a new hole. Good Luck.
