  • Aftermarket Gauges.....best bang for the buck!

After I install my B6T I will want to keep an eye on what's going on under the hood.......have you guys found a brand that you feel is reasonably priced???

I like gauges that auto darken but B&M only makes these gauges for 3 functions

    I want to have boost,oil temp,water temp,voltage meter....

    Any input???

Autometer is all I've ever used in my aftermarket gauges.

^^They are considered one of the best (if not THE) in the industry.
I use a brand called Splitfire (I think Aus only?), and they seem to be 'as' popular?
Anyways- if nothing else, at least it looks the goods..

That splitfire is a nice looking gauge. Does it have a good rep downunder?

Affordable performance gauges. Boost, Oil pressure, Wideband Air fuel ratio AFR, Exhaust gas temp EGT, coolant temp, oil temp, volts, air pressure, dual intercooler temp, fuel level

Just like Defi but a 1/4 the price.

          Thanks

I'm not real sure how good (or bad) the splitfire series is?
I found a link that sells both prosport (^^) and the splitfire range.
It might be worth the look?

i know this topic has been dead for a bit but if anyone is still looking for gauges i use equus 8000 gauges in my 90 stock 1.3 festiva plus (www.iequus.com) i picked them up at a local orielys auto parts for under 200 bucks (for speed-o / tach /water temp / oil press / gas and voltage ) and they work like a dream... i used a ac autotechnic oil block (for a 96 civic) and water temp adapter (www.acautotechnic.com) and as for a broken oil line get a high temp clear hose about a 1/4 in to big slide it over your oil line and rtv the end inside the car shut it will protect the line and if it breaks it will just puke it back onto the block ...just check your hose every time you pop your hood..
