are there any steering wheels that will fit on the festiva

  • #2
Yes. I have a leather steering wheel on my car from a protege. I love that wheel. I just pulled mine off and put the other one on. Looks good too.

I have a Grant steering wheel on mine and love it. It is 12.75" OD compared to the stock 15.5" OD. The smaller size makes for a more enjoyable drive and it brings out the ZOOM ZOOM.

Look in pretty much any Mazda product of the 80s-90s, and you'll have a steering wheel you can use. Test fit before buying if possible though.

I used a Personal (Nardi) steering wheel. You can buy hubs for next to nothing on ebay. They are ment for miatas I think so a miata steering wheels should work as well.

This is what I have too. Love it! Only problem is that the hub kit that comes with it really doesn't fit the festiva shaft. The spline is the same, but loose and the taper is different. I bought the wheel and hub together, but I also bought the hub separately based on the store's lookup. Both hubs were identical and both don't fit right. My plan is to cut the hub out of the original wheel and bolt the new wheel to it.

                            Anyone else have this problem?
