I found some of these OEM escort/tracer roof racks NOS. I wonder how they would work on a festiva ?

Yeah they will work. They have a quick release so you can pop them on or off. Just leaves a mounting post on the roof. They can be locked via a padlock and also have a pop up tie down for a bungee cord.

did you tie it through the windows? or around the fenders lol

thats of the one day I had a headlinner, a rear hatch and a fender tied to the roof with the back end and front seat full of parts aswell . . . it was so bad I couldnt put the pass window up because the door wouldnt close with it up.

Oh yeah, KIA prides get all the neat stuff we cant have.......sigh I'm trying to find a escort, tracer roof rack, that's really what the ski racks should attach to. Then they are adjustable. Those on the Pride look like they fit in the window channel.

A "tidy tray!" For RHD though. Why do I still want one? And those "sill guards.' They look nice!

I need to visit my local Kia dealer and see if I can order some of this stuff. Heck, they made them until 2000, right? Some should still be in the system, and there's no reason they couldn't piggy back on top of a regular parts order from overseas.

No reason except BUREAUCRACY, of course.

I think that load liner would be useful too. Ive seen a lot of festy with scratches in that spot from hauling stuff. The cassette storage may be a bit outdated.

nothing is hotter than period specific details

as for the tidy tray, someone needs to spend a day making a mold and start selling fiberglass trays for all us LHDs
