  • What seats bolt into 91 Festivas?

(I'm using my dad's profile on here) I am 17, I want different front seats for my car. The seats that come in the Festivas don't feel so great so I was wondering what can bolt in or what can be made to fit easily.

If anyone has any ideas for me E-mail me at sarry_gurly13@msn.com or this site.
    Thanks!
    Sarah

I think the aspire seats bolt in. Other than that its a custom deal. The escort & 323 seats will fit if you mod the bases.

I've seen Honda Del Sol seats as well as Honda Prelude seats mounted too.
All with various amounts of fab work.
Pretty much anything will fit, within reason, if your willing to fab up some mounts.
Not sure the Aspire seats are "bolt-up" think the floor pan is sufficiently different to make the seat mounts different.
I know you can use the Festiva slider base on the Aspire seats and then they'll bolt-up!
DJ did a slider swap writeup with the Mazda 323 GTX seats!

basically a custom deal, the easiest to do would be to swap seat pans.

here's an easy swap for you all: Escort GT seat backs bolt right onto the lower half. feels like a whole new seat. one thing i found though was when i did it, the new backs mounted in a more upright position than the stock festy seat backs. i remember having to use the EGT adjusters when mounting to the bases (festy adjusters wouldn't work with the EGT backs). i know i have pics somewhere.

^^^ When I installed stock escort seats into my festiva I used festiva bottom frames and side adjusters with no problem bolted right up to escort seat backs.
Over the winter going to switch to escort GT seats.

just search his posts, recently he made a thread titled "my 2 babies" or something similiar and it had pics of his car and new born and inside of the thread was a couple pics of his seats, they came out very nice, I would also love to see how he decided to mount them.

The escort gt seats are quite different.

                        Look the same to you?

Thats the festiva tray bolted up to the EGT seat bottom & back. The way i did it you need manual belts, but probally could be done the other way for auto belts.
