  • ford drops the ball again

here's another option that ford left on the cutting room floor when they americanized the 121. this collage is from an 88 121 manual from france and a UK owners manual. i don't know if this worked off a seperate pump/reservoir. probably not real effective without little wiperblades but kinda neat. also UK 121's had as standard equipment heaters that ducted heat under the front seats to the rear passenger area. options included heated seats and a 4-speed hi-output fan. too bad ford couldn't have offered all this as a cold weather package instead of de-contenting the festiva.

That would be cool to have the heated seats and the rear ducted heat .

I seen a pic somewhere of the black duct that poked out from under the seat.

It says don't use the head light washer for more than 10 seconds .

It should say ..Caution : using headlight washer in excess , will result in the front end of your car rusting off

I keep hearing about this rust stuff, is it bad? See down south we rarely see it, like this one time I seen a car with this red stuff on it. I just thought it was ugly paint.

How come no one has mentoned inside windshield wipers? In my festiva the glass would fog up and the defroster couldn't keep up so I'd end up wiping with a rag or a sleeve.
