Door Panels

I can get a sheet of diamond pattern gray color metal
48"x 96" x 1/4" thick. It said can cut to size
how would this work for door panels in a 91 festiva.
About 84 dollars per sheet.

I have seen it done before with Rivnuts. I'm assuming you would want some kind of sound deadening material on the back to absorb some of the sound and vibration.

1/4" seems extremely thick/heavy

Are you sure you want diamond plate?
I just peeled my old panel covers off the hardboard and had them recovered.
