Protege seats and instrument cluster

Is there a sticky somewhere that I'm not smart enough to find that goes into detail to switch over the protege seats?

I saw the mentioning of swapping to the protege tachometer. Is it possible to convert a non- tachometer Festiva cluster into a speedometer and tachometer cluster using the protege cluster? I'm sure I sound stupid not only answers but I'm the kind of guy that likes direct and more information. Thanks guys.
