Ive got two doors panels on Redford with this problem. Not as bad as the ones pictured ( those came out of the parts car ) and Ive seen a lot of festivas with the same problem. I got an idea to cover the splits with an escutcheon. First cut some backing material possibly out of the backing material from an old door panel. Then cut out some good vinyl material from an old panel, somewhere so that the patterns line up. Then glue the vinyl to the backing and install the escutcheon over the old split panel like a trim piece. It might look better than the splits. Tomorrows project.
