sources for sheetmetal?

anyone know of anyone that sells festiva sheet metal? i have some rust forming in front of the rear wheel wells.....can't seem to find it online.

I needed a hatch for my car and search quite a bit for festiva sheet metal and only came up with fenders and a few other items. Never saw any quarter panels or repair panels. Maybe you could cut out the rust and find someone locally to fab up the repairs. Watch Boyd's show, those guys can make anything. Could try a junk yard and look for one that is rust free in that area or have one of the southerners look in there junk yards and cut off a quarter panel.

I've cut 1/4 panels off a junk yard camaro to replaced a smashed one I had. Just drill the factory welds, and bring a hammer and chisel.

I don't know where you guys live, but around me its hard to find anything in a junkyard that is rust free around the wheel wells... stupid NY winters... :x

Check with FMS, I know awhile back they had quarter panel and some other body parts.

I think now all FMS has is bumpers, sideskirts, hoods, spoilers, and fiberglass hatches...

you dont need a specific sheet metal. i know the complete process for repairing rust. Ive never used like a ford or chevy sheet metal unless you cut it from a ford or chevy car, other wise go to a sheet metal place and get a thickness thats the same as the sheet metal on the car, weld her in, fiberglass the welds then body filler it level
