  • Third brake light mod...and a clock *update* installed clock

Well, I got my festiva sticker from Fresh today. What do you think?

Next time I'll try a solid black sticker if Freshtiva can get me one. It might show even better that way.

I almost forgot to share this also. It came today as well. Just have to get it installed this weekend. It even came with the plug/connector on the back for wiring to.

if you got a solid black sheet and cut out festiva in it so only light would show through the festiva letters, then i think it would look better but this is pretty cool fms should sell somthing like that, if they do im so buying one

That's what I was originally looking at doing. But Freshtiva had one of these available so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm pretty pleassed with how it turned out.

Freshtiva, do you have any solid black lettering ones that size? If so I'll buy it to put on the other Festiva. Let me know.

I have this one. Its a negative of the one you have. It should fit inside the empty spaces of the one on your light. You ll have to be careful to get it lined up when installing.

I thought about doing that when I first got the car but never did.

I know that it's required for my inspection and stuff... But nothing has been said about it in the past 5 years of getting the cars inspected...

It's probably partly a driving hazard too for some trucks that would look for it, but I'll take my chances.

I installed the dash clock now. Here's a couple picks of the install.

hole in dash that needs fille with a clock.

                            home made wire harness

                            wire routing

                            easy location to ground

                            installed

I even have the dimmer function working but in the picture it looks like it's off so I didn't upload it.
