ops: how do you take the window nobs off ops:

    thanks

Ok, you need a flathead screwdriver.. on the back end if the window crank using the flat screwdriver kind of move the plastic escussion ring and you will see a brass looking horseshoe clip. get up under the middle of it and pry it out be carefull they're "springy" for the lack of a better word. I just lost 1 tonight. Went to pry it off to put in my new 90LX Power mirrors and it shot past my head never to be found again (at least not tonight) I'm glad I have spares..

To put them back on, snap the horseshoe clip back on the handle and push it on until it clicks...

I like the rag trick better too, normally the clip will catch on the rag and not spring so damn far. (the rag trick is taking a thin rag and sliding it behind the crank. Turn the rag until you catch the pin and pull (IIRC - The clip faces the handle on the crank, so slip the rag down as if you are going away from the crank and it should pull the clip out.)

You can pickup replacements at most autoparts stores incase you do lose one.
