that festiva pic you posted looks like it was meant for water. can a festiva float? in this case i hope not..

a velcro ceiling would be very handy for me anyway, i could at least find a pen when i needed it.

OK, I could do this for less than $200 !!!

Hook & loop product experts, delivering quality and value since 1995.

Wide range of colors, could even buy some tape, differnt colors, and cut out some cool designs, match the seams on the doors for a 2 tone effect, put FF.com on the dash, mebbe get my daughter to do a kewl design on the ceiling.....

I'm wondering if that last link would be good custom headliner material. It's 60" wide and starts at $13 per yard! You could do your ceiling for about $25 if it can be worked with properly!

              From the ad:

VELTEX® Brand Display Loop is the ideal product for your display jobs. It is designed for use with VELCRO® Brand Hook Fasteners. It is made up of 100% nylon fabric with a polyester foam core and nylon tricot backing. It is ideal for:
              DISPLAY PANELS
              OFFICE PARTITIONS
              BULLETIN BOARDS
              ADVERTISING SPECIALTIES
              SOFT CASE APPLICATIONS
              MEDICAL APPLICATIONS

If I'm right, that "polyester foam core" is fairly rigid and may possibly be bent with heat to better fit contours?

I'd ask for samples before you buy! They may be free, with some postage. That will let you see what you're getting first.

I say you completely hook and loop the car, inside and out. Then offer some sort of car pool service where people wear hook and loop clothing and just jump at your car as you speed by.....

But... my imagination had been known to be unsafe and overactive...

Wow, I wonder if peeps would pay for that....

Safety Guy, I think you have to buy the whole roll, $140.00 but I need to call/email them and find out. Good idea about samples, I was thinking the same thing about contours as well....

I received an answer from a Mr. Wolfin of Textol Systems.

                    His reply was:

"It should work, we can send you a sample card if you wish."

I emailed him with my address and told him I'd post this "so hopefully no one else would bother him."

I'll post back when I get the samples and we can go from there!

It does look like we'll have to agree on a color and buy a whole roll or two.
