  • Cargo cover hold downs

I have all the hardware installed accept these bottom cord hold downs . . . do they go in the same place as the screw clip style? and if so do I need to cut a hole in the wall for these? if anyone has these installed a picture would be appreciated. Thanks-

this is the only photo I've seen of the bottom string clips (thanks Pac)

^ the plastic clips are belong to the inside hatchback door and you will see two black dot round on sides which just under the glass. It's already pre holes so just push in it.

As Festiva GTX said the items you pointed to mount on the hatch under the glass. These hold the cover from bouncing around against the hatch. The round ones still screw to the sides of the window and that's where the strings hook on.

        Hope that helps.

They mount on the hatch to support the trailing edge of the cover. Most car without them have a round black paper dot covering the square hole.

The second one blurred a little but its chilly and dark out. There are two types of the string hold downs.

I took some pictures but my computer at home is too slow to load them. Glad somebody with decent computer could help out. Haha just one of the few downsides to living in the boonies.

I suggest not using those hold downs if you take your cover in and out a lot...at least I do not....they are very hard to get the strings onto and off of....I just hook them to the latch hook for the back seat on either side. Like Packrat showed , that way they do not just hang and they are easily removed when needed.
