  • "wide body" kia pride (in progress)

    well, here are the pics of my project car, the brown thing is just a mold...(i will do this in 0.8mm metal, not fiberglass) this monday the welding will be done. after that, iŽll paint the car "BLACK SUBARU" (like the black WRX STI ) ... some pics.















    (the tyres are 16" slicks)

    i hope you like it.

    Good luck with the project! DJ (former owner of FF.com) did a REALLY slick widebody fender. Pics are still on here somewhere.

      That's pretty cool! I was actually thinking of doing something like that. Kind of nice to get some good inspiration!

        All I want is a nice little flare. There was an old VW Cabrio sitting in our parking lot yesterday. I eyed up the flares that were on that and I think it would've been perfect with a small amount of modification to fit properly.

        Cut the fender line and mold in a small lip like from the VW and you'd be golden I think.

          I think they'd be cool even in fiberglass!!

            Simon I seen that same car in a junkyard yesterday and had the same idea,might go back and cut them off!

                I took a rear fender flare off a 1st Gen Cabrio awhile back and from fitting it against my car it looks real close to working.
