  • Made a few upgrades to the Sport today

    Went to the PAP/JY today and picked up a bunch of stuff....some of which made it onto the car today also.....

    Hood shocks....


    Little vid of them working....


    Mapp light upgrade and inside door opener thingies...lol....

    Awesome Willie !! That is a very cool mod .

    I have the strut , I just need to get some brackets .

      mine are all one piece...the brackets are attached...Ido not think they can come off. I had to drill out one of the holes in the hood a little bit to get them screwed in. I think Frestiva found some that bolted right in with no modification. I got mine of the Tracer I posted pics of....man that was a really nice interior!...lol

        Struts from what year Tracer Willie? An early model or the '90 up?

          I believe it was an 89....but I would message Freshtiva...he had some that you did not have to do any mods to the hood on I believe.

                  I put the one end in the top bolt hole on the hinge mount....the bottom is in the first bolt for the fender.

                      how did you make the ballstud fit into the hole?, drill and tap it?

                        Yes and no....I did drill but I did not tap...I should have but I got it to grab without it. There are some out ther though that are a direct fit....but I do not know what they are off of.
