  • Intermittent wipers for Blu

Well it wont put much of a dent in the upgrade corner but Im working on getting some intermittent wipers in Blu tonight. Got the combo switch out. Thought Id take a break and brought the switch in the house under some bright lights with the reading glasses for the module change. Wow their just happen to be a beer in the frig too. Good thing I came in

Didnt even get to finish my beer despite having to knock out two roll pins to change out a broken part. I think someone got a little rough removing it eh-hem. Fresh can fix it though. Back to the beerless garage. Ill work fast.

One of the Canadian members maybe. Ive got another one but it has cruise on it. I think the variable speed non cruise are kind of rare. (in white at least)

yes, that's the problem. I have white w/ cruise, white w/o variable int., orange variable w/o cruise, orange variable w/ cruise. I just can't find a white variable w/o cruise...

Nice! So it worked with the other module!

He He, I can see my sloppy handwriting on a customs form in the second picture!

                Fresh, was something broken?

The little hook clip you see on the pivot on the left was missing from the one you sent. It was no big deal to switch it over from the one I removed. Without it the stalk wont stay in place while installing the module and might be a little sloppy when installed. No big deal at all, Im very happy with the stalk. The lettering is perfect. Plus I got to annoy the wife by driving out the pins on the kitchen counter while she fixed supper. You thing shed be use to that by now. Thanks stefan !! Yes, it worked fine with the cruise module, you were right about that. Now find me some more.

Sorry guys, these seem to be very rare! I've been a regular at the junkyards ever since I got my drivers license... so almost two years now... and this is the only NON cruise arm I've ever found... Tons on the ones with cruise tho.

Sorry bout that fresh... I'm always careful removing them. If I would have noticed that I certainly wouldn't have sold it to you as good. Ill have to watch for that tab from now on.

No problem at all Stefan, like I said, Im real happy to have it. Redford did get a little upset about Blu getting the intermittent wiper instead of him. He does have seniority and all. So to keep the peace I installed a new full console in Redford today. Now there is harmony on the ranch once again. At least until I decide who gets the new clock.
