...and just how much weight and complication does that add?

            Now I've seen it all.

And what happens when there is a rock, snow... or roadkill under the car when you open the door? Yum!

I'd maybe put them on and look like a total dork, but only if I didn't have to pay anything for them.

Of course, I've always said if I had a car alarm I'd make it blast the Power Rangers in Space theme... I'd know it was my car, and it would humiliate whoever it was into walking away quickly. But this is me, who named my car after a ship from an RPG... so I'm pretty down with the dorkyness level. XD

Probably just as well I'm allergic to society.

If i was given the kit for free i would not hesitate to install them. How many of us are in denial thinking we are not dorks already in a festiva. Dork on.

Those Lincoln doors bring to mind the "disappearing tailgate" of the early '70's GM full-size wagons; anyone remember those? The bottom gate slid under the car, and the glass gate slid into the roof. Always thought it was pretty cool.
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

Yep! Embrace the dorkiness, I say. It's much more fun that way!
