I got thinking the same thing after I posted last night. Started thinking about what bezels could be used to modify. I think that's why it's probably easier to go with Lexan covers.
    Cheers!

By the way, Pocket Rocket - I'm 6km from the Quebec border if I can ever get oragnized enough to get my car finished. You can follow me down to Stratford next year if they're still trying to meet.
      Cheers!

No problemo dude! Same here! Working on my car myself right now, hopefully back on the road in the next weeks. But who knows what I'll be fiddling with in the next months! I just hope it'll be done for the next meet instead of being in pieces again loll!!!
The left lane? Are you crazy!!! I never drive in the left lane...It's full of freaks driving the wrong way and charging right at you!!!

Is it just me, (probably) or does a Festy with round headlights look like an old Honda City?
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

As cool as the concept it, it really needs bezels. It has a unfinished look, or a rigged look. Some foam and fibreglass would fix that up.

the headlights best to use are the pre 80 vw rabbit ones. and then for the clear lens affect like the cws ones. all you need to do is order some plastic clear headlight covers off 88-92 jetta's and shave them down on a grinder so they fill in the gap where the normal headlight glass would be.:toothy7:

Going quickly in a slow car is more fun than going fast in a fast car, cause anyone can go fast in a fast car, but you take a car that is essentially not that powerful, and make it do things that its not supposed to be able to do, well that's where the real fun is. - Jay Leno
