  • Ultimate Cut-Off Deterrent

Ever since I bought my Festy, it seems ignorant people in pick-ups and SUVs have found perverted pleasure in bullying me around the road due to the small stature of my vehicle. These people (and I use the term very lightly) cut me off and pull out of sidestreet intersections with clearly not enough room expecting me to slam on my brakes to avoid a collision (me obviously taking the worst of the crash)

So after that rant, I present to you the ultimate deterrent against drivers:

(and yes I know I will probably get flamed by some stating that it is unsafe and incites road rage etc, etc.)

Hey wait a second - That horn seems familiar - I think I've seen it somewhere before. If only I could remember where . . .

    I'll give you a hint:

I like it. And in Vancouver....you need it. Never seen stupid drivers like I have here. Every town has em..we seem to have more.

Don't let me do that. I'll get in trouble.

            bad drivers

The only thing that will work against bad drivers are even worse drivers.
I knew someone who purposely sped up, cranked the wheel and cut off other bad drivers.
You don't know what a thrill it is to see a sports car submarine under the rear end of the car you are driving, to see the sheer look of both terror and anger at the same time, and to see them dazzled by their own reflection in big solid chromed steel bumpers. They don't know whether to honk or swear. Their knuckles are white and they are shaking. I hate self proclaimed vigilantes in big, powerful old beaters. Don't you?

I'm with Bhazard on this one:

Really, there must be a place to put this on a Festiva. The RR museum I volunteer at has a few loco's for spare parts...I wonder if they have any horns lying around!!
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

I saw a guy from Nevada selling an air raid siren on eBay. He tested it and said that his friend heard it from over 10 miles away.

I collect car horns. I have dozens of them. Ever since I looked through my first Jubilee Horn catalog in the Quad Off-Road center in Buffalo.

i am either going to be getting one from a semi (www.hornblasters.com) or my Wife's grandpa has a 1928 Ford Model A and has some extra "oooga" horns laying around. i know it wouldnt be the same effect.. but it would be cool all the same
