  • Homemade Clear Turns

I decided to make my own "clear" (ok,frosted) lenses. One broke when a rock hit it, and I had some plastic, so I made two of them:

I made some spacers so they would fit flush, and used an amber bulb instead of white.
Plastic was clear, so I sanded the back with fine sandpaper to give it a frosted look.
Total cost was only about $2 for the bulbs!
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.
