Looking good! Are you building some extra side intrusion bars?

Do you think it weighs more than it did before yet?
Any idea how much the glass+pillars+roof weighed in total?

No, no intrusion bars, Autocross is a solo event, so I can save that weight. No other cars on track to collide with...

The cage weighs 105 pounds. I eliminated close to 400 when I gutted the car. I have a thread somewhere with the weights of what I cut out, I don't remember off the top of my head with the roof, glass and hatch weighed... but it was more than 105 pounds. Plus I moved the center of gravity lower also... it's going to be quicker, that's for sure.

You need to make some more of those rear strut braces and sell them that looks really nice.

Not super hard to make really.. can make them in any angle, I needed the "swept back" angle I used for clearance/geometry... but, I can make them straight across.

Best results would have them welded to the tower, as well as bolted under the top shock mount.. but I already have a welded brace, so it was just an addition.

After I get my car done, I could probably whip out a few if anyone wants them.

                  Prolly about $50 plus shipping

If I were you, I'd make sure to mount that dash clock low, so as not to upset your CG. That should also keep it out of your airstream!

I haven't weighed it, but according to what it DID weigh, what I removed and the 105 pounds that the cage weighs.... should be right around 1300 pounds....

Man, I can't wait.. watching 109 people race last Sunday was a pain... lol..

I drove it a bit today, on the street... lol.. it "FEELS" very very quick, and handles very flat, and stops VERY fast... should be killer on the autox track!
