No, no intrusion bars, Autocross is a solo event, so I can save that weight. No other cars on track to collide with...
The cage weighs 105 pounds. I eliminated close to 400 when I gutted the car. I have a thread somewhere with the weights of what I cut out, I don't remember off the top of my head with the roof, glass and hatch weighed... but it was more than 105 pounds. Plus I moved the center of gravity lower also... it's going to be quicker, that's for sure.Have had 6 Festys... and counting...

Not super hard to make really.. can make them in any angle, I needed the "swept back" angle I used for clearance/geometry... but, I can make them straight across.
Best results would have them welded to the tower, as well as bolted under the top shock mount.. but I already have a welded brace, so it was just an addition.
After I get my car done, I could probably whip out a few if anyone wants them.

If I were you, I'd make sure to mount that dash clock low, so as not to upset your CG. That should also keep it out of your airstream!

Man, I can't wait.. watching 109 people race last Sunday was a pain... lol..
I drove it a bit today, on the street... lol.. it "FEELS" very very quick, and handles very flat, and stops VERY fast... should be killer on the autox track!Have had 6 Festys... and counting...
