Parking (hazard) lights for central locking

I have just finished installing an aftermarket Keyless Central Locking kit in my 1992 Festiva.

It works great. The only thing that is left to do is to connect 1 wire to my hazard lights.

It is supposed to flash the lights twice as I unlock the car and once as I lock it.

Where can I connect this wire to? Help please.

Just need the flashers to light up when locking/unlocking. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

i'll post back once i find out which wire to connect to.

as for the 'how to' and pictures, really, they're not necessary. if you know how to pull a door trim out and connect 2 wires, you can do it. it just takes a bit of time and patience.

I would have to look in the wire book but you should be able to tap into a wire under the steering covers

All the alarm/central locking kits I have fitted have had two wires for the indicators and they supply power to flash them. You just connect each to the two seperate indicator wires of the switch.

If your kit only has one wire then I would think that it might be to flash the parking lights, alot of them are doing that now especially the cheap ebay imports.

You could try connecting the one wire to the hazard light switch, that runs both indicators but I'm not sure if there is just one wire of the back of it or two. Grab your test light and have a play and let us know how you get on.
