I've used interior paints before and never had much luck with them. They seem to rub off over time. I'll probably make some door panels from aluminum to give my car more of a racing look or cover the existing ones in black vinyl.

Interior respray...

If you want to keep the paint from rubbing off, you should put a coating of CLEAR over it. It protects the coloring from being rubbed off and also is WAY easier to clean when you detail your ride. You can get some spray clears in a semi gloss or even flat finish if a shiny gloss isn't your thing. For kick panels and other high traffic areas, SEM makes a product called Chip Guard. Great for spraying on your rockers and lower body areas to protect the paint, hard as nails and clear as glass. It can be sprayed inside of your car on the panels to protect them as well. 8)

I used paintable rockguard from canadian tire on all the back plastic and love it came out very nice and still has the same pattern in the plastic showing.

vinyl/plastic spray-on dye works fine.

the festiva's dash has been black since 02' and doesn't have a scratch on it...that shit works fine!

I want to paint the dash and am wondering if I can loosen the top of it to pull it further away from the glass so I can get a good taping before painting it. Where can I get that rockguard? paint. from canadian tire?
