Almost looks like my first Festiva R.I.P
Anyway, you could make it look like a showgun if you have time/money/skill.
Otherwise, refer to this to get an idea: http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...ight=wide+body

a wide body kit to me only looks good if the wheels come out to the fenders I.E. the shoguns had wide rear fenders but the wheels filled it in so it looks awesome

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I don't care for widebodies. A festiva looks good with wide tires and maybe some nice fender flares, and lowered. But putting ultra wide rims, and shogun styling on a car with a 1.3 liter motor would be silly to me. To each his/her own though.

uhm, if you have the cash for a widebody, im guessing 500 to 700 odd us dollars, enough for a b6 sohc, halfway to a b6d or a b6t if you dig enough, wouldnt it be better to keep saving? with wise rim and tire choice, you wont need a widebody kit to put it to the ground.
also, the festiva body is not rigid, why not look at fixing that issue? a few well placed gussets and doublers will help with wheel hop and stability thru corners.is not sposed ta do that...
