My windshield is starting to look like Charolette's web, from rocks being thrown up into it as I drive; cracking the glass.
I saw J. C. Whitney used to sell a thick acrylic deflector which mounted on the front lip of the hood that was supposed to keep rocks flying up from the road from cracking the windshield glass they said also cut down on bug splatter.
Unfortunately those were no longer available when I tried to order one...though they had models for a nearly infinite variety of other cars.
I wonder if one of these for any other car might be adaptable to my Festiva; or if anyone has ever tried to fabricate something like this, which seems as if that might not be too difficult.
Oh, and I wonder if the thing would work?
