which wire is negative from the cigar lighter, blue or yellow?

buy a light tester and test for the positive side, the other side will be the negative. I'm not certain but the color of wire may have changed throughout the years.---------------------------------------------------

I've had a half dozen Festivas and have never seen an illuminated cigar lighter or ashtray.

power wire is the yellow one, black is ground (outside of case) this is for an '88LTrees aren't kind to me...
currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),

Maybe WES forgot to mention the pink elephants prancing on his hood when that cig lighter circle lights up! Too much of his icon to drink, no doubt.

My lighter outlet just stopped working a few days ago after running a 13 amp harbor freight heater off it. Go figure.
Fuses are fine, strangely my stereos 12v acc runs off the fuse labeled cigar, and there was a 30amp fuse in there, when there should be a 15amp. Great.91GL BP/F3A with boost
