  • HID idea

I like the idea of bright headlights, but at the same time I don't want to blind people. Recently I noticed that you can get HIDs for H3 bulbs which got me thinkin' Most fog lights take H3s... So I'm thinking of getting a good set of aux lights and running HIDs in them. This way I can use them on the highway exct when I'm the only one on the road. Watcha guys think?

I think it's a great idea! I put an HID kit on my Aspire and I love it. I did do the headlight conversion though. I don't get anybody blinking their lights at me (amazingly!).

The HID kit I got had HID's on low beams only. The high beam is a normal bulb (and not a very bright one at that!).

I'm thinking of doing a dual HID beam conversion... but I like your idea too!

im gonna be sticking 4 big 9 inch 130 watt rally lights on the roof rack that i have and then have a big power wire and some smaller signal wires going up to the realys. you can pick them up on the net for about $45 each light, not bad when you think of how much light would come out of those...
