Well finally got it done. No washer nozzle yet. thats for another day.

Nice !! The nozzle is the fun part. Let me know if you want to know how to do it the hard way. Thats the only way I know. Did you use the intermittent rear wiper switch ??

I got the switch from Ian, it seems it is not. There was an intermittent one? One thing i noticed is that there seems to be no "rest" position for the wiper, as in it stops when you flick the switch. Is this right?

No... it should return to the vertical rest position no matter where you turn the switch off.

PS Intermittent rear wiper switch??? Tell me more!

Just use a spare intermittent wiper module from the combo switch on the column.

fixed it! turns out the solder on the back of the motor fell off.
