  • Hid's anyone?

    Has anyone done a hid conversion? how does it look and did ou have to do any moding to get it to work or look right? i might buy some today.

    Some on here have a HID bulb retrofit into the stock festy housing...




    BTW I dont like them. They are annoying to drive in front of, as are all cars with this HID convertion without The proper HID projector housing....

      6000ks look nice. They aren't as bright as the blue ones (8000k) and they still put out a crap ton of light.

        I hate getting blinded by cars that got them stock! Nevermind illegal installs..

        If you want some intense light, install them in some good quality auxiliary/fog lights, and only run them when your the only one on the road.

            sorry i put in HID but it came back empty

              thats the way to go upgrade to some hyper white bulbs for the head lights then put the hids in fog housing lower to the ground so that you get all the lighting you need without blinding everyone i personaly like the hid fog application in the amber or yellowish tint with the hyper white bulbs

                Thats not true HID thats an imitation halogen with tinted bulbs

                  I've done them got them off ebay> plug n play take about 10minutes to install. if you get the single stage ones you gotta unplug your daytimes forsome reason otherwise somthing under the dash buzz's at you....

                    to help with the blinding of oncommig traffic some of the guys with hid conversions put eyebrows on the top of there headlights. seems to work pretty well from what ive read.
