Well, I drove mine with only the single center wiper for several months after the cowl rusted through at the point where the driver's side wiper pokes through.

So, yes, it does work. As a quick fix you need to adjust the positioning of the center wiper arm so that it wipes evenly across both sides. And, yes, a longer wiper arm would help greatly. But, you don't really need to relocate the wiper motor. Simply remove the arm leading to the driver's side from under the cowl.

Beyond that, without modifying the stops in some way or another would probably be necessary as without it the wiper doesn't make a complete 180 degree pass but rather in a V and never completely goes down to what one would consider a standard rest position (hence the need to reposition the wiper arm).

the other thing I neglected to mention is that it is somewhat questionable whether or not the car would pass a safety inspection with only one wiper. Would depend on the laws of the state and how familiar the inspection station was with the car to notice that it only had one instead of the stock 2, I'd think.

        I ghettoed one

        Yeah spelling sucks,

I did the single blade using a integra arm and wiper blade so it covered alot more, but still looked shitty, Im wanting to use the wiper system off from the dodge caravans, the ones that are in the middle and both open away from eachother, that would look cool. Logan

The 21" wiper does make a real difference; it covers more area and makes a cool "wiper pattern" on the windshield...
