  • New Seat Upholstery Question

My wonderful wife reminded me that I have a birthday coming up in a couple of months and thought maybe recovering my seats would be nice (I love this woman). The current seats for my 93 are light gray with red stripes. I'm in the process of painting much of the interior to a charcoal gray with red accents and want the seats to match. Because it can be so hot here in Alabama I want to stay with cloth and have red accents as well (maybe red piping, etc). I would love your suggestions on types of cloth material and patterns. I've got a few ideas but wanting some fresh ones. Thanks

They might not be the sport seats, they could be the GL seats. Make them look like the sport interior.

Sorry but they are worn slap out and stained. They look good in pics but in person they are very, very thin and beginning to tear. I'm not sure they would make it through removal. If they do I will let you know though. Believe me...I wouldn't replace them if they were still in really good shape. BTW they are the GL seats and not the sport interior.

Well, I guess it depends if you want it to look custom or stock. If you're going to do stock, that's easy, just refer to what's out there and get it done. If custom, well, there are millions of patterns out there to choose from.

Maybe swap the grey and the red around and have a mostly red seat with grey piping...?
