i live in illinois and i was just wondering what was the law when it comes to window tinting? i don't need any tickets...... i think that it goes by a system called vlt?? any help would be appreciated

i also live in illinois in the naperville area. i think but not totally sure. you can have the back windows as dark as you want, but the driver and passenger side , and winshield need to be able to be seen through. ive only known a couple of people that have goten citations for having too dark of windows, mostly because of driver and passenger door.-rev till the valves float grab second and haul ass- -
yeah that helped out quite a bit. my original understanding was that you couldn't do the windshield or the front two windows but everything else was alright. and i also heard something about the year too. i know now though. thanx everyoneStock is not an option!
