  • Best Seats

I was just wondering what the best replacement seat is for my Festy is. I have a bad spot on the lower part of my seat and I'm wanting to replace the whole seat.

What type of seat interests you? I'm interested in the response for this especially if you're looking for a sportier seat.

I've got mazda mx-3 seats in mine. Very comfy and have a nice sporty look to them...

i think B6T said that the 323gtx seats were great.
ahh here it is "The seats are from a 323GTX and required the fabrication of brackets to fit in the Festiva. They are as much of a necessity to a Festiva as gas and oil... that's how much better they are then the stock plywood seats. 323GT (sedan) seats are not the same, they are a lot more flat and don't have nearly as much support and bolstering as the GTX seats." heres a picture.

            fabric replacement

Go to the JY and look for a nice replacement piece of fabric. Cut the hog rings with a mini bolt cutter. Wash and reinstall back at the ranch. Don't take the whole seat or they'll charge you. If you turn the fabric inside out and roll it up in a ball, they may even just give it to you for free. Everyone should have an extra set of seat covers.

Do a search for prelude seats. I used a set from a 93 and they were very nice, comfortable and supportive. Also the install was very easy.

Are there any other rear seats that work, even if I have to do a little custom work?

pretty much any 2door car with a backseat will let you have them move and fold foreward
