Carbon fiber hoods are going to be 325 plus shipping. He emailed me saying 3 weeking for the tooling to produce the first unit. The GTX hood supplier will recieve a 25% percent discount, whom of which is Fastorbust.

I had another question for him if fiberglass hoods would be cheaper because it seems almost a 50/50 toss up. Maybe making it 290 of so for a FG hood.

He is most probably going to want a non-refundable deposit to HIS paypal not MINE. I'll set up the shipment through ODFL through my work for cheap. Who ever is in CA if they choose can go pick it up at there location if it is ok with him.

I'm thinking there would be a demand for a thin FG repair patch for the usually first-to-rust section fwd of the rear wheel openings. I tried to pull a mold off a car using Plaster of Paris. I built a box from thin plywood, clamped, wired, and duct taped it in place from the door opening to the wheel arch. It was a big mess and the plaster didn't flow good enough to produce a usable female mold.

Word from the boss said fiberglass GTX hoods will be 200 plus shipping. Shipping sound be fairly cheap through a pallet through ODFL. Lets start some sort of a list of people who are interested.

Still in need of pictures of a GTX hood!!!!

He said a rear hatch would be about the same cost. Spoilers are next on the list.

There would have to be a maket for them. Might want to head over to the aspire forum and see how many would be interested, but yes it could possibly happen.

The hood is very flimsy and and i beleive they do not come with the holes for the hood pins

This is my crappy drawing of the measurements i took of the hood, if you need more let me know
