Mazda 626 Turbo steering wheel/Momo Shift knob

My friend had this "Formuling" Wheel in his 626. Perfect fit, turn signals, etc. all work. Momo shift knob on there as well.

I'm not really into the blue of the knob. I'd prefer if it were silver. but it was ten bucks so I can't complain and it was better than the stocker. Gave some additional height with the short shifter and some weight. I suppooose the blue does match the mazda logo on the wheel. :lol:

If that Momo knob breaks down to just the blue anodized parts, careful cleaning with Easyoff oven cleaner (don't leave it on long or it will eat the aluminum) will take the anodizing off. Then, hit it with Eagle One etching raw aluminum mag wheel cleaner for a dull aluminum sheen or just polish it out.

Thanks for the tip Todd! I'll look into it. I know that the bottom trim ring will come off but the blue up top is all glued in. don't think that can be removed.

Not a fan of the blue in the knob either, but I had one of those knobs in my corrado years ago and they're pretty comfortable. What seat do you have on the passenger side?
