  • Festiva and Aspire rear seats

Does anyone know whether the Festiva and Aspire rear seat bottoms are the same, or different? I'm talking about both the frame and the cushion size. I just bought some Aspire front seats for one of my Festys, and am thinking about going back to the JY to get the rear seat covers, especially if the bottom is a direct fit or very close. I know the Aspire rear seatback is different from the Festiva's.

Or, can you just put the Festiva rear seatback onto the Aspire rear seat bottom? Cuz if the two bottoms are identical, then I would just have to make the Aspire seatback cover fit onto the smaller Festiva seatback.

I know the aspire front seats will work if you swap tracks with the festiva seats.

Is there a Festiva at the yard you could try it first?

No Festy at the JY, they just crushed the only one (but I got some good stuff from it first). I might just do some measurements and see if it looks plausible.

Fresh, I just did the Aspire front seat swap. I used the directions from someone here, but am going to write up my own, for more clarity and completeness. I got the seats for $22 apiece.

This weekend I pulled an Aspire rear seat from the same car I got the front seats, cuz I wanted matching front and rear seats. None of the Aspire components can be used on the Festiva; the frame has very different dimensions. I will do a writeup sometime soon on putting the Aspire rear seat cover on the Festiva foam and frame.
