Hi guys, does anyone know how to properly debadge the ford festiva without scratching the car,
Like what equipment, bare in mind it is quite old,
Thanks
fishing line will pull the badges up without scratching, then at the auto parts store get an eraser wheel. it looks like a big round eraser on a stick that you insert into a drill. wont hurt paint at all and gets rid of any glue left over then just use a mild cleaner to do a final once over. if the badges you are trying to get rid of are bolted in, the fishing line wont work... at all.
well their is the only badged one bolted in the front
more speficially im more on the lines of the stickers down it, kinda like badge style, if you get me.
because i have the kia pride 1999 SX
like on the back stickers/badges not very thick saying KIA PRIDE
etc
will it still be the same
I used a razor blade but I have lots of practice that and goof off

Razor blade works really good. If you have never done it before, PRACTICE before you take a blade to your paint (you've been warned). Use soap and water to lubricate the surface.
Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

As r34king said, ERASER WHEEL. I will never, ever use razors or heat guns or goo gone again. The eraser wheel is so easy to use and leaves the surface so nice you'll never go back. I picked one up for about $6 at Napa and it been in use ever since.

Wow, I went to get one at napa a few months ago and when the guy rang it up it was like $40 bucks! So I told him I'd pass
"Lane, I've been going to this high school for seven and a half years. I'm no dummy."
yeah, it pays to look around, Lordco quoted me about $50 but Napa here was cheap, any decent body shop supply place should have them at a decent price.
