  • Aspire seating

    Hello

I've managed to yank out a little plastic shim from my driver seat rail, so now sometimes when i stop the seat tilts forward on the rail a bit. not a big thing but it's a bit annoying

the aspire's seats weren't the most comfortable to begin with, so does anyone know of any nice comfortable aftermarket seats that'll go in with minimal modification necessary?

    ...

If your gonna go through the hassle of dropping in some seats, I would say find some you think are comfortable. Just dropping in some seats because they didn't take as long to install is sure to make you wish you had decided to put the ones you really liked in even more. Not only that, then your out money and time because your gonna have to do it again. If your gonna spend the money, make sure you get what you really want. It will wind up costing you more in the end if you don't.

Why not try the MX3 seat back upgrade that Wil posted? From what I recall, the Aspire and Festiva seat backs are interchangable, which means the MX3 and Aspire would be the same as well.

If you're looking for a full replacement seat, you can go with aftermarket racing seats for pretty cheap, depending on the brand. I got my orange R1 racing seats for $300 and shipping and the custom brackets to make them fit were $60 for the set.

I think I've seen your seats before... what kind of place should I look for for having the brackets made then?

alot of the places you buy the seats from will offer the brackets, if not then any shop or good friend with a welder and some steel should be able to work wonders.
