Yeah, but removing windows is an additional $100 charge.

All of my customers go for the little slit to get around the bracket that opens and closes the window. Barely noticeable, doesn't hurt the life of the tint too much, and saves them a lot of money.

Maybe you charge $100 bucks, but I do it for the normal cost its a matter of Principle! I wouldn't put my name on a shady tint job. But to each there own. Sorry but the back window would look like crap unless you remove it and do it one piece.

      Thanks

well to defend the diyer... I did my rear glass in 6" strips with a 1/16th overlap and it's never bubbled or faded in 3 years.. and you can't really see the overlap lines... and this is in the Texas sun...

I've never even looked at the back window of a festiva. Are there buttons or something? does the window pop open?

              Ah!

So it's like a jeep cherokee.

Yeah, removal of the window will help keep it clean. I didn't realize it was an easy one. I was thinking it was a pop open ones like the sides.

Otherwise short of removal just take a card or your license and a paper towel and clean the living daylights out of those gaskets.

Of course, I suggest everyone help support your local tinter and go to them. =)
