    ok so i hope i put this in the right thread, but can you take the bulb out of the black plastic thing it is in or do you have to buy them with the black plastic thing and the bulb as a set?
    1990 Festiva L sport 26.5k miles

    Uh, what bulb/light are talking about specifically?
    Pic would be even better.

      The replacement bulb will look like the one below. #9004 (assuming you're talking about the headlight)
      Just be sure not to touch the glass part with your fingers. The oil from your skin will heat up when the bulb is on and it can blow your new bulb!

        ya my headlights... do you know if you can buy them so they look a little blue instead of just white?

          I know Autozone and O'reilly's have bluish looking bulbs. Just take a walk down their lighting aisle.

                  I was looking at these lights on ebay..are these "blue" in tint or more "white" like most HIDs? I am trying to confirm that they are not the yellow tint of stock bulbs but I also don't want the overly blue tinted ones that you see in some cars. Looking for white..

                        they weren`t a dark green though but they did look cool

                          they are not a deep blue but do have a blue tint - they are noticably brighter than stock - they do make these in "super white" just look around
