  • rx-7 steering wheel

i put a rx-7 wheel in my festiva and it fits great only problem is the wheel is to close to the wiper switch and i was wondering if there was a way around this, maybe fliping the wiper stalk around so its farther away from the wheel? any ideas?
btw here it is in my festiva it mounts just fine and the horn works too!

you could probley get a spacer for it, but i have NO clue where you would even start to lok for one... my first guess would be to get one machined out of aluminum but that can be very expensive unless you have a friend with a machine shop...

    BTW nice tach

there is a screw under the assembly that you loosen up....then you kinda wiggle and pull and it will pop loose. Make sure you disconnect all the plugs. The 88-89 assembly has the wiper and turn stalks set/laid back further then the newer ones.....same with the Festy steering wheel of the same year.
Love the wheel by the way.....I have 2 of them.

Isn't the wiring different in the early headlight switches? I tried putting orange controls in my '92 and it wouldn't work.
