Okay 12 o'clock is at the top of the oil filer, 10 o'clock is if the oil filter was a clock face the pressure sensor is above and slightly to the left of the top of the oil filter. Just like if you were looking at the 10 o'clock spot on a clock....

The BP is the same, but the pressure sensor is really hard to get to, I believe you may have to remove the support for the intake manifold at least to get to it, may have to remove the oil filter too depending on how big your hands are.

You can get a brass tee and put it in one of your heater hoses and put that sensor(the new one ) in that tee. Also you get to leave that in its proper place for your computer to read. And I do have a pic of the oil thing for ya.

I tapped into my upper heater hose since it carries the hottest water. But it is not as accurate as going into your thermostat housing but will give you an idea of what your motor is doing. I live in florida and mine is turboed and has a/c so i really like to watch my temp. I also run a 180 degree thermostat.

how did you do the heater hose isnt it a pipe that comes out of the block? like how do i use the t fitting? do i pull the pipe out or what haha i wanna make sure i can do it mine dont have a thermostat at all so it gets warm fast. it was like that when i got it going to get a new one. i was going to wire up a new fan and use a toggle switch to turn it on because mine dont work and the gauge dont either. thats y im doin this.

First follow the hard line over to where the distributor is and it turns to rubber. Second get a tee that fits it and has the same o.d. as the sensor and use a piece of rubber line clamped onto the sensor and the tee. If you just unplug your fan(switch) it should stay on. And you really need a thermostat because the water is not being held in the radiator to be cooled.

missing the thermostat will not make the car warm up faster or even come close to overheating, the coolant is constantly going through the radiator being cooled, ran my car for 8 months with no thermostat your car is getting hot fast you need to get it looked at.

just thought id clear that up.
