    question! so im trying to take off my taillights and all i have to do is unscrew those 4nuts right? and if thats it, to get to the bottom one you need to take off the panal or is there another way?
    1990 Festiva L sport 26.5k miles

    yes...4 nuts....yes you have to take the panel off.

      or you can loosen the interior quarter panel by removing the majority of the screws and the seat belt retractor then prying the panel and using a flex-head 1/4 inch ratchet, remove the final nut

      that's the way i did it

            ratcheting wrench is the only way to go only have to loosen one screw in the hatch compartment

              i just taped it off and tinted em so it worked out fine
