  • new functional addition

i just recently added a functional hood scoop to my festiva that i found online. i had to cut a hole in my hood but it works like a charm. i used to have issues keeping my festy runnin cool but since i put the scoop on it hasnt gotten hot enough for the cooling fan to even kick on once. when i got it in the mail it was paintable so i painted it to match the car and added stainless steel mesh gutter cover to match what i already have in my grill and i think it looks really good.

Looks pretty sweet. I can't believe it is getting that much air in it! That should boost your engine life...

as far as under the hood its just a hole in the hood, theres no duct work under there takin the air to the airbox. just tryin to get more air in around the engine to cool it some. and yes i have noticed some improved performance

you will have to plug it off in the winter....or you will have even less heat then usual in the Festy

yeah i just put some duct tape over the opening in the scoop so the heater will work well.
