Awesome; had no idea we could do stuff like this w/other dashes.

What do they measure width wise? Are they pretty close in size? How about a mazda b2000/2200 dash out of a truck?? Maybe that would be promising too?? :dontknow:

^^ That's a darn good question. The pic in post #6 makes it appear the capri dash is several inches wider. Maybe it's just the angle. Anyway, best of luck. Lots of pics, lots of notes. Go for it!!

Best of luck with this one. I have a hard time getting a festiva dash in a festiva.

The way i see it the b series trucks have a dash that is similar in over design and they are not as deep as the capri dash.....less work in triming. If I do a dash swap that would be my option. Swap the dash harness over, splice in a truck cluster, mount it not much else to do.

Can I ask why you chose the Capri dash? Did you just happen to have one sitting around and chose to use it, or have you always liked it, and went and got one? IMO, the stock Festiva dash is a bit more stylish, and can be made even more so with some proper mods.
I have thought about this kind of thing, but the Capri dash seems like an unusual choice.
However, still a neat idea..keep us updated.
