Personalized roof

Okay, so my original paint had faded out and the roof was looking rough. Since my car is dark and doesn't have AC, I figured I'd paint the roof white to reflect the sunlight.






Once I painted it white, I liked it....








Then I said, "what the heck! Go for what I really wanted to do!" So, first I measured and taped off a design and painted on the second color.








Once it had dried, here is what I had:








Then today... I taped off some more spaces and I finished it off! VOILA!








Now, if I could just get that nasty white overspray off my hood, I'd be happy. Anybody have any tips?

As far as the over spray, I'd give it a go with a buffer before I'd sand and repaint. Unless is was bad to begin with.

A little window tint would really help with your a/c .

A rising sun would have been closer!! LOL Looks great. Try a little TR-3 resin on the hood. NAPA sells it.
