  • where to take a festiva for ac???

    where can i take a festiva to get a/c installed ??? my 92 5speed festi doesnt have it !! and im desperate to get a/c is hot as hell where i live so a/c is a must ???

    That's dry heat down there it's not that hot. In cali (no offense) but they are going to charge to an arm and a leg to install a complete A/C system. Better look for a festiva with A/C.

      when everyday is 90 to 98 during the summer a/c is a must bro !! yea im gonna look at buying a festi with ac and just keep the one i have for parts or sell it later on !!! but for some reason festis with a/c are hard to find

        I hope you have a light-colored Festy :-) If not, paint it white!

          Bahh AC is for sissys, plus it clutters up your engine bay, and it's one more thing to crap out.

              have you tried looking at retro fit kits for jeeps or from vintage air?
              Trees aren't kind to me...

              currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
              94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

                I've drove a Festy for 19 years without a.c. Even in 100+ weather. Keep it moving and it aint bad.

                      Mine has it....and I've never even tried to get it working...
                      1986 Comp Prep SVO Mustang(1 of 83) Four cylinder turbo! (Think first Fox body "R" model!)
                      1995 F-150 Extra Cab and it was free!
                      1991 Festiva L, Surf Blue with A/C
                      1995 Jeep Cherokee 2wd 5 speed 4.0 and it was free!

                        There is an article in the "article" section on A/C install. Its really not to diffecult to do. Check it out. And I must be a "sissy" because all my cars have A/C!

                          i have one festiva with ac but i dont want the car haha all my others dont have it well the yellow one does but dont work well maybe dont really care needs the belt

                            Just install a funtop and you dont have to worry about A/C - even though I'm still installing it anyway lol
