ok i guess this would fall in exterior catagory. FB71....could you tell me how that hitch was rigged up? i read that you and someone picked up another festiva and towed it with a festiva. i been wanting to make a hitch for my car since i got it. just enought to tow my 4 wheeler on a lawn mower trailor. i dont know what would be a good starting point

mine's a bit more serious than that. I'll snap some pics this weekend.
I removed the rear bumper, took off the cover and styrofoam, burned a 2 1/2" square hole through it, and welded a reciever tube to the bumper. I reinforced it with plate around the tube both front and back, and welded some rebar from the tube to both bumper mounts, top and bottom. Then I drilled and tacked in place some 14ga plates on the body where the bumper bots on. Reinstalled the cover with no styro, and cut the hole though the cover.Jim DeAngelis
